Hey Livejournal. It's been a really long time. What's up with that? I guess I'm not really a super good blogger. It's kinda hard to get inspired to write about something that you already experienced. It's like "This was my day, here's what it was like." But you already did it so it feels redundant to write about it no? Anyway I feel bad that I took an awesome name (wolfgangster16)and I'm not even using it! So from her on out i plan to do super cool things her on this very page! Get ready livejournal I'm gonna post you raw!
Yesterday I got braces. I have been looking forward to these for a long time you see. I felt that my teeth were way not straight enough to hit my standards, and on the long term side of things it could only help me. However there were complications in me acquiring the brace face persona I longed for.
Apparently my jaw bone is more prominent on the left side of my face. i was told this a year ago. The teeth folk wanted to wait a year to see if it grew anymore before I could be fastened with the metallic expansions. So we waited a year. I was very impatient. I wanted braces ASAP. The way I saw it; "The faster your teeth are straight the faster you'll get a date." Of course now I know that boys are stupid and don't deserve my time. In any case my jaw did not grow anymore oblong then it already was so yesterday was big for me.
I love my orthodontist. Everyone there is so amazingly friendly. The woman who handle the fiances with my parents is so funny. So after the transaction (Braces are way too expensive!) I was taken to the chair by the window, which is a very pretty view. The girl prepping my teeth had really intense eyes, they were like yellow and green rings. Then after all the pretty views came the pain. They held my mouth open with this horrible contraption that I think was used in the salem witch trials. Then they started putting a lot of pressure on my teeth. It hurt like a lemon in the eye.
If they had me in that mouth opening machine for much longer i was gonna die, but then I finally got the braces on. It is so awkward! It didn't hurt but I need to relearn my facial expressions and speech, Especially If I want to keep doing plays.
My friend Malia & myself had a coupon for gyros, so we ventured off into Cafe Neo; the hippest greek place next to a McDonald's. I could eat little more than half of it. I was so sore, and ever since then My teeth have been yelling at me. "How could you do this to us!? We have done nothing but good for you!" I am dying from my chin up, and the numbing stuff isn't helping. I can't eat anything & even sucking on a straw hurts. Rachel says she lost 10 pound because she couldn't eat when she got her braces.
In any case I am now in live journal, so I am hoping you will continue to care what I am saying.
